Been drinking it for years. Wish you still sold it in bottles, but it's still my favorite.
So Virgil’s is probably the best cola on the market and that’s coming from an individual who brings Mexican Coca-Cola in glass bottles for a Latin American work crews on our farm. That’s the way Coca-Cola used to be, but honestly Virgil’s is a much cleaner product, with superior ingredients. Such a joy buying their products they’re all excellent.
The root beer was really good. I remember buying Virgil‘s root beer, ceramic jars with a rubber stopper and a flip over ceramic cap. I’m very surprised how good this was in a can. Also, this is a very thoughtful company. Their packaging is unbelievable. It’s like you could throw a case of soda off the roof, and it will be just fine. All of their sodas are just excellent well crafted quality products and the way I get them on our farm in North Carolina, so well packaged, I will pay the premium price..

Been a root beer lover since I was young, but now I’m let’s say much older and have to watch my sugar intake, these sugar free versions have really been a little blessing for me. Didn’t think I’d ever drink a root beer that I would actually enjoy ever again. Thank you for what you do!
The Virgil brands are all great choices. I love the Black Cherry and the Vanilla cream. 5 star all day.
They used to carry these at big lots and we had to track them down. They are awesome so fresh real ginger flavor.
Worst tasting Root Beer in the World! Virgil's has apparently changed their recipe. The original recipe from like 10 years ago was incredible! They went from having the best root beer in the world to the worst. Literally, no exaggeration here. Who's business model idea was this? Seriously Fuck the idiot who came up with the idea to change the recipe and fuck Virgil's root beer!
Its good, but it doesn't really taste much like root beer to me. Kind of liqoricey.

Despite having "2000mg of Peruvian ginger in every can", I sure can't taste or smell it. It's very bland and not 'crisp'. I would say it tastes more like a Cosmic Crisp Apple flavored soda. It's not even very carbonated.
At best, I would say it's like a weak ginger tea watered down with sparkling water, 33mg of sugar added, and a slice of apple.
I definitely do not recommend this brand. I would say save your money and buy Canada Dry or Vernor's ginger ale.
